The Devil

Many people gasp when they draw this card, however it simply represents obsession in one or more forms. Is there anything in your life, where you have an unhealthy addiction or level of dependence to?  This card reminds us that we are perhaps focusing our energies too strongly on one area of our life. Perhaps it could be a relationship, where one partner has an unhealthy obsession about the other.  This card can also represent the delicious moments in life, where we indulge in too much red wine or food. Or perhaps we are focusing too intensely on a love interest or object of desire. Nonetheless, this card asks us to take stock and create a more healthy approach to life.
