The Eight of Pentacles is the card of the apprenticeship. It represents the beginning of a new business, skill set or creating something that you previously have not done before. It also represents the building and construction of your life. You are working hard at work, school, or challenging yourself with ideas, to create the life for yourself that you really want. Sometimes this card can indicate actual construction of a new home, or changes to an existing one.  You are beautifying your life and building a  firm foundation.
