Scorpio is a water sign and its ruling planets are Mars and Pluto. Those with the Scorpio sign also have the symbolic sign of the scorpion and the eagle. The scorpion often is representative of the nature of those individuals with this sign. Intense and brooding and when felt wrongly done by, Scorpio’s will seek revenge and retribution just as a scorpion would bite and sting. As Scorpio is ruled by the planet of power Pluto, it also explains why scorpions often have intense emotional feelings and can react intensely toward others in situations. They are sensitive individuals and can often be secretive people.
Scorpions are small, deadly and often unassuming. Same goes for those with the scorpion sign. Â Extremely self defense, yet perhaps rightly so, Scorpios are extremely intuitive and are good at predicting the emotional state of those around them.
