Uma Thurman has been gracing our screens since the 1980’s playing a variety of roles in a wide selection of films from romantic comedies to the lead role in the Quentin Tarantino film, Kill Bill. The moment I picked up the cards two fell from the pack, these were the Queen of Pentacles and the Ten of Pentacles. Immediately I felt the Queen of Pentacles referred to Uma, and when I checked her birthday date I discovered she was born under the star sign Taurus which is one of the signs associated with Pentacles (the others being its fellow earth signs Virgo and Capricorn).
The Ten of Pentacles is associated with financial security, a happy and materially successful home life and worldly success. This would suggest Uma is in a positive and secure place right now and is contented with her lot. If anything, her situation could improve as her career receives a boost.
The first card I picked for Uma represents the part of her life which is uppermost in her mind at the moment. In this instance the card I picked was the Knight of Cups. This is one of the most romantic and loving cards in the pack, it points to someone who is profoundly in love. Delightful as this is, the person experiencing these emotions is so wrapped up in this aspect of their life they can run the risk of neglecting all their other concerns. The next card which is in the relationship part of the spread should tell me more.
Hello, look who we have here, the King of Pentacles. Now, court cards can refer to a vibe or person, but here the meaning is rather obvious. In this case the card refers to a man who is setting Uma’s heart a flutter. He is someone who is good with cash; he is serious with a strongly reliable streak. Traditionally, this card is said to represent a man with dark coloring who is born under the star sign of Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn.
The next two cards represent the material aspects of Uma’s life. The first represents her cash flow the other her career, so I tend to read them in relation to each other. The first card of this dynamic duo is the Six of Cups; this is followed by the Ace of Wands. The Ace of Wands is the easiest card to read and points to Uma starting a new project. She will approach this venture with great energy and gusto and this will be something which she will really enjoy.
The Six of Cups is more of a mystery, it tends to refer to childhood and happy reminiscences, which on the surface seem to be unrelated to cash matters. I believe in this case the combination of the Six of Cups and the Ace of Wands suggests that Uma’s next career move will be based on something she remembers fondly from her past. For example, she may appear in a film based on a favourite fairy tale.
The following card refers to her health and here we find The Tower. This is not the ideal card to find in this part of her chart and it implies an unexpected change in her circumstances, such as a sudden illness or accident. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that there are no other particularly negative cards in the spread, so it seems unlikely that she is going to suffer any serious or long-term health issues.
The last part of Uma’s spread relates to travel. Once again a card fell from the pack along with the card I actually picked. In this instance the two cards that turned up were the Queen of Cups and the Devil.
The Queen of Cups is a gentle loving soul whose tender heart is easily bruised. In contrast, The Devil points to excess, temptation and the risk of acting in a way that is the opposite to your moral values. As you will have realised by now, when the Queen of Cups and the Devil meet it is all too easy for things to end in tears.
Therefore, whilst I would not advise Uma to forgo any journeys she may have in mind, I would suggest she needs to be very picky about the company she keeps whilst she is away from home.
